Chase Bank's Community Revitalization Program Donates Properties to Habitat for Humanity for Family Homeschase bank logo

JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Chase Bank, through the Chase REO Community Revitalization Program, recently made an extraordinary impact on Southwest Volusia Habitat for Humanity and its mission of partnering with low-income, hardworking SW Volusia County families to build safe, decent, and affordable housing through the donation of three Chase properties in Deltona and Orange City.  These properties enable Habitat for Humanity the opportunity to build in partnership with qualified partner families in SW Volusia County through no-interest loans!  We must wholeheartedly thank our partners at Chase Bank for their incredible kindness and generosity!  If you are interested in applying for one of these homes please call 386-774-1553 for more information or download an application at HOW TO APPLY today!

Thank you to our Community Partner- John Knox Village of Central Florida

deconstruction

SW Volusia Habitat for Humanity is extremely grateful to one of our generous community partners, John Knox Village of Central Florida.  They have generously donated the contents of three houses scheduled for demolition to Southwest Volusia Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore.  Habitat's professionally led and trained team of volunteers, including students from Stetson University’s Campus Chapter and Youth United, carefully removed donation items from the residences for resale at the Southwest Volusia Habitat ReStore located at 196 W. Blue Springs Avenue in Orange City.  This donation is environmentally friendly since the program diverts potential construction waste from local landfills.  Material donations are sold at a discount to the public which helps reduce the cost of home improvement and generates proceeds which go towards supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building affordable homes for hard-working, low-income families.  Once their demolition and construction project is complete, John Knox will expand their full-service senior living community.  Thank you so much to John Knox Village of Central Florida !!
